The repertoire known by children and adults alike is based on the most recognizable themes from animated films such as “Aladdin”, “Frozen”, “Gru”, jazz standards fused with motifs from video games such as Mario Bros, film soundtracks and original compositions. There are always agile explanations interspersed through a dramatized staging with which the children learn about the instruments, about melodic, harmonic and rhythmic aspects, about the history of jazz… a spontaneous, fun, educational, family concert…

Objectives:

1. To bring the benefits of listening to jazz closer to children.
2. To offer an educational as well as a fun experience around jazz. That the children acquire knowledge in a fun way.
3. Create an interactive context in which the child audience feels part of the music, promoting participation and integration. The child audience will feel that they are part of the show, that they are creating a connection with the music, the band and the rest of the children in attendance.
4. Provide the experience of live music by learning to enjoy the benefits of a live concert, and offer them tools from an early age so that they can access and enjoy music and culture through a repertoire made to measure for them.
5. Transmit the accessibility of the genre, with the collaboration of young musicians.
We invite children who are music students to participate in the show, understanding that playing in a jazz band is something accessible even at their young age, it is fun and special.
