Last Blues concerts of the year.
El Oso de Benalúa y Sus Sabandijas is a Chicago blues band from Granada. It is led by Toni Travé ¨El Oso de Benalúa¨, a bluesman with an absolutely personal style. He is accompanied by a band of experienced and reliable musicians; Tony Molina on guitar, Dani Lévy on electric bass and Giggs Nother on drums, all of them well-known musicians on the local scene, who have accompanied bluesmen of the stature of Fernando Beiztegui, Chino Swingslide, Richard Ray Farrell, Mingo Balaguer, Ñaco Goñi, etc.
The band moves between the furious Chicago sound of Otis Rush or Muddy Waters, the West Coast of T Bone Walker or the more swing and boogie woogie sound of Louis Jordan or Fats Domino. They have performed throughout much of the country, including the Blues en Ruta castellano cycle, the legendary blues club La Coquette (Madrid), Antequera blues festival, Blues Cazorla, Córdoba Blues Festival, Frank Rock and Blues Fest, Reus Blues Festival, etc.
They are currently presenting their latest album ¨Magic Hooker Rush¨, a tribute to Magic Sam, Earl Hooker and Otis Rush.Live in Amorebieta and Ermua, Bizkaia-Basque Country (see Agenda)
