Ander Garcia Jazz Basque Project

Basque double bassist Ander Garcia offers music recognizable for its originality and strong personality, created from Basque folklore and contemporary jazz. Ander offers live performances in a variety of formats: from a duo with pianist Jorge Castañeda to a trio and quartet with drums and txalaparta. He presents music based on traditional songs, new compositions, and tracks that have accompanied him on his five albums as a leader. Ander García Jazz Basque Project strives to strike a balance between the two styles: the aesthetics of Basque music and contemporary jazz.
