A powerful French band with a spectacular live performance. From Montpellier, they boast attitude and elegance influenced by Louis Jordan, Ray Charles, and Big Joe Turner, along with a solid dose of high-quality Swinging Rhythm & Blues.
Led by the excellent guitarist and singer Vince Bassou, a member of groups such as Les Grys-Grys and Les Rustyn’s. In The Big Marteen’s, Vince is accompanied by two saxophones, an exceptional pianist, and a drummer. Tremendous 50s rhythm and blues, with a strong classical influence and excellent stage presence. The repertoire consists of their own songs and covers of rhythm and blues greats. A fantastic group that invites you to move. The band delves into the waters of swing, rhythm and blues, and old-fashioned rock and roll, in a sextet format. Quality, attitude, and elegance.
