Joel Moreno is a young guitarist with extensive experience in the world of Jazz. Catalan by birth, traveled to New York with the intention to grow as a musician, and did it. After two years in this city decided he has to document their experience and began to write. Joel creates pieces where improvisation and composition are inseparable parts of one piece, avoiding some of the act of making a succession of jazz solos on a harmonic base. In each piece he try to create a world, consistent in itself, particular and unique. “Joel Moreno is not only a guitarist with ten virtuous fingers, it is primarily a singer with great feeling and heart.
