La Mississippi is one of the oldest and most important bands of Argentine Rock and Blues. The band is in his best professional and creative moment. The do not only play in Argentina but also in Brasil and the United States.
La Mississippi was born in Florencio Varela, a neighbourhood in the south of Buenos Aires, the band was created with the idea of recreating the classical Blues repertoire. Its debut was in 1989.
