Pianist Ramón García holds degrees from Pablo Sarasate Conservatory of Music in Pamplona, where he earned titles as a Professor of Chamber Music and Piano Professor.
He furthered his training with jazz studies at Conservatory of Music of Navarra. In addition to leading his own project, Luces del Norte, he has collaborated with artists such as Jade Caravan, Iñaki Rodríguez Quintet, Deborah Carter Quintet, Mikel Andueza, Iñaki Askunze, Jorge Pardo, and Bob Sands. As a pianist and director of the album Pamplona Jazz Orchestra meets Ilja Reijngoud, the Navarrese musician has balanced an intense artistic career with his teaching role at the “Julián Gayarre” Music School in Noáin. For his debut solo album, he is joined by two of the most recognized musicians on the scene: Hilario Rodeiro on drums and Kike Arza on double bass.
