Symbiosis
5 consists of a group of Hungarian musicians, “neighbours” in Budapest, the land
of live music and capital of street festivals. The fact that the musicians are
neighbours seems to clash with the increasingly evident globalisation of jazz
ensembles. Máté Drippey, sax, Benedek Virág, guitar, Levente Kapolcsi-Szabó, piano, Tamás Gyányi, double bass eta Roland Majsai, drums.
The future of jazz is safe
in the hands of young groups like Symbiosis 5. In art, the sum of five units is
not always five, sometimes it is more. Here’s the proof!
