Victor Aneiros Band

Victor Aneiros is a self-taught musician from the area around the Ferrol shipyards in Galicia. For the last 15 years he has been delighting us with sounds from all over the world in the company of his faithful band. Last year he attended the Montreaux Festival in France, where he made a live recording of a memorable concert which is due to be published this autumn. He is currently writing his new compositions in Galician ‘because it is a language which lends itself very well to blues’, and his repertoire consists mainly of original tracks, although it also includes a number of versions of songs by musicians such as ST Vaughan or Rory Gallagher.
