Victor de Diego has never stopped looking for a place for his music. This was his aim when he left his native city of Bilbao 15 years ago to move to the Mecca of Spanish jazz, when he decided to give it his best shot, like so many other musicians that fell by the wayside, like so many other talented individuals of his generation that continue to be a mystery for the mass audiences of the summer festivals: Gorka Benitez, David Xirgu, Joan Díaz and David Mengual, etc.
