Manuel Borraz is a composer, music producer, pianist, improviser, and arranger. He has a degree in piano and two master’s degrees from the prestigious HfM Basel in Switzerland. He has also completed his training with renowned musicians such as Lester Menezes and Swapan Chaudhuri. A robust training program has shaped the pianist from Madrid into an avant-garde and eclectic performer. He has received numerous accolades for his exceptional interpretative virtuosity. Throughout his career, Manuel Borraz has collaborated with renowned artists such as Fred Frith, George Lewis, Michael Bisio, Kirk McDonald, and Maikel Vistel, among others. He has also participated in numerous festivals both nationally and internationally. In the field of education, he has worked in a number of institutions, including MSRheinfelden, MSKaiseraugust, MSBasel, ICS Nord Anglia, and the Centro Superior Forum Musikae. Following a prolific period of musical output, which includes works such as Get Out of Your Way (2020), We Need The Earth (2021), Light Spectrum (2023) and Observe (2024), Manuel Borraz is further establishing his reputation as a leading figure in the evolution of contemporary music with this latest album, entitled The Big Question.
