Xime Monzon is a renowned Argentine harmonica player and singer with an outstanding career that has taken her to participate in countless festivals in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina.
Xime Monzon comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina. “My Harp My Soul” -released by the renowned Brazilian record label Chico Blues Records- is her latest release where, accompanied by a good band, she demonstrates her skills with the blues harmonica, as well as as a singer. With many years on the road, Xime has shared stages with Lurrie Bell, David Bertson, Flavio Guimarães and many more. She has toured Brazil and Chile and is a renowned harmonica teacher in Argentina. Xime’s influences are the great masters of the blues harmonica such as: Walter Horton, Sam Myers, Little Walter, Sonny Boy I and II, Billy Branch, Lazy Lester, Slim Harpo, James Cotton, Junior Wells, Carey Bell.
