FERNANDO BEIZTEGUI Blues Trio
The Andalusian bluesman will present his repertoire in trio format.
For those who do not know Fernando Beiztegui, he is a versatile blues guitarist and singer who moves with ease in both electric and acoustic blues, always respecting the most traditional canons of this style that he interprets with enormous feeling, veneration and love for the genre. A bluesman from the south of the peninsula, considered by some media as the sniper of purity. Beiztegui has spent his entire life on stage since he began giving his first concerts in his native Granada, and has shared moments and stage with great musicians and bands both national and international. His mastery with the guitar and his heartbreaking voice have made him essential in numerous festivals where he has performed.
His live performance follows those paths of the blues that, despite being well-known, are still attractive and that manage to get the listener carried away by each and every one of the songs on the album, all of them performed with good taste, elegance, a lot of groove and a feverish passion, by this excellent Andalusian bluesman and the musicians who accompany him. It is music blacker than chocolate, tar, or the face of an ancestral god who blew on the musical scores.
“Marked Cards” is the title of his latest collection of songs and Fernando Beiztegui certainly plays with marked cards. It gives the impression that he carries in his pocket the faded and worn deck with which John Mayall once played, the white blues born in the pubs of sleepy England.
In November he will present his latest project, La BLUES COMPANY, together with other veteran musicians (Ñaco Goñi, Fernando Beiztegui,Edu ‘Bighands’, Paul San Martin, Martí Elías).
