Los Deltonos open the musical programme of the year in Eibar

After almost four decades of an unquestionable career, we are not going to be trite and say that Los Deltonos are back, basically because they never left, but we do have to confirm the fact that the Cantabrian band is facing a kind of new rebirth and this new reincarnation needed a good starting point. Here you have it, “Mueve” their latest album and 15 is a real punch on the table, a sign that whatever the charts or the massive audiences say, Los Deltonos remain stubborn in showing everyone that they are one of the greatest rock’n’roll bands from the peninsula. And they do it with the best weapon, the songs.

Hendrik Rover is a renowned blues, rhythm and blues and rock guitarist who has been expanding his style at the same time as his influences with the addition of flatpicking, country and Honky Tonk.

Los Deltonos revolutionised the stagnant and mimetic panorama of Spanish Blues in the early 90s and have been considered a reference ever since. A powerful and dynamic trio of seasoned and excellently coordinated musicians who perform Rover’s repertoire and a careful selection of covers with solidity and aplomb.
