Quintet formed in Barcelona in 93 by the brothers Juan and Victor de Diego. The brothers acquired a solid musical after its passage through the Conservatory of Music of Bilbao. They begin their artistic careers recording and performing at various festivals and clubs with training as Pork Pie Hat, Infussion, Papa Blues Band and Dolphin Blues Band. Later they went to Barcelona and their careers as musicians take on another dimension with stakes in numerous national and international festivals of jazz as Donostia, Gasteiz, Getxo, Marciac, Barcelona, Madrid, Terrassa, Leverkusen, Bayonne and many others. They work with such musicians as Nicholas Payton, Benny Golson, Jesse Davis, Idrish Muhammad, Randy Brecker, Denis Rowland, Teddy Edwards, Jeff Ballard and Robin Eubanks. Recorded with many different backgrounds. The first recording of DE DIEGO BROTHERS was held at the Bilbaina Jazz Club in Bilbao (Ruse, 2005). At the beginning of 2010 published his latest work Odola/ Blood, recorded at Laietana studies in Barcelona.
