Guillermo Revuelta is a trombonist, composer, and educator who has established himself as one of the most interesting figures on the jazz scene in recent years. He trained at several institutions, notably the Centro Superior de Música Creativa in Madrid and the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona. Revuelta further honed his craft alongside musicians such as Bobby Martinez and Norman Hogue. He has collaborated with artists including Richard Bona, Jeff Ballard, Michael League, Bill McHenry, Carles Benavent, and Pepe Rivero. Revuelta has performed at numerous festivals and renowned venues, balancing his career as a performer and composer with his role as leader of the Guillermo Revuelta 4tet. His latest project, Elementary Building Blocks, features the musicians who regularly perform with his quartet.
