JEL trio + Hutsun txalaparta

This innovative collaboration arose from the curiosity to explore new sounds, styles and musical paths: JEL Trio, formed by Javier López Jaso (accordion), Marcelo Escrich (double bass) and Juanma Urriza (drums) and Hutsun txalaparta, composed of Mikel Urrutia and Anai Gambra Uriz (on the wooden and stone txalapartas).

An original and novel proposal, mostly of their own creation, where the txalapartas, together with the double bass, accordion and drums, become a jazz instrument that improvises, solos, accompanies and is capable of joining the rest of the instruments in a way never seen before. A proposal that, through the fusion of rhythms, sounds and harmonies, closes this dreamlike journey in a festive way.
